Erstmals vorgestellt in der Version 0v2 zur OFAM 2025.
Mr. BlitCo ist eine Erweiterung, die vornehmlich für den Einsatz im Atari 520ST gedacht ist, aber auch in anderen Rechnern der ST-Reihe.
Für den Betrieb von Mr. BlitCo sind keine Treiber erforderlich. Die Benutzung von TOS 2.06 und/oder EmuTOs ist empfohlen.
Für die volle Funktionalität wird empfohlen, die CPU vom Mainbiard zu löten und durch einen DIL64 Sockel zu ersetzen.
Sie vereint mehrere Funktionalitäten, die jeweils für sich oder in Kombination genutzt werden können:
a) Adapterplatine zur Bereitstellung eines PLCC Sockels für die CPU, etwa zum späteren Einsatz eines Twister, aber auch zum Einsatz einer 68000/68010 im PLCC Format (sofern DIL CPU zuvor vom Mainboard entfernt)
b) Bereitstellung des Grafikbeschleunigers "Blitter" in Rechnern, bei denen bisher kein Blitter verbaut wurde. Hier ist eine Extraverbindung zum Mainboard erforderlich (lila Kabel auf den Bilder).
c) Bereitstellung eines mathematischen Coprozessors (mapped CPU), optional auch mit 16MHz taktbar.
In der Version 0v2 wurden gegenüber dem ersten Prototypen einigen Vereinfachungen umgesetzt, die Beschriftung klarer gestaltet sowie LEDs zur optischen Kontrolle bei Blitterzugriff (DMA) und/oder FPU-Zugriff eingefügt.
Der Vorteil des BlitCo ist, dass der ursprüngliche DIL Sockel der CPU erhalten bliebt und andere Erweiterungen aufgesetzt werden können. So passt der zusätzliche Einbau einer Cloudy-StormST (mit Switchy und RTC) sowie einer LightningST baulich perfekt in den 520ST.

Mr. BlitCo is an expansion primarily designed for use in the Atari 520ST, but also compatible with other computers in the ST series.
No drivers are required to operate Mr. BlitCo. The use of TOS 2.06 and/or EmuTOs is recommended.
For full functionality, it is recommended to desolder the CPU from the motherboard and replace it with a DIL64 socket.
It combines several functionalities that can be used individually or in combination:
a) Adapter board to provide a PLCC socket for the CPU, for example, for the later use of a Twister, but also for the use of a 68000/68010 in PLCC format (provided the DIL CPU has been removed from the motherboard beforehand).
b) Provision of the "Blitter" graphics accelerator in computers that did not previously have a Blitter installed. An additional connection to the motherboard is required here (purple cable in the pictures).
c) Provision of a mathematical coprocessor (mapped CPU), optionally clockable at 16 MHz.
Version 0v2 incorporates several simplifications compared to the first prototype, including clearer labeling and the addition of LEDs for visual monitoring of Blitter access (DMA) and/or FPU access.
The advantage of the BlitCo is that it retains the original CPU DIL socket and allows for the installation of other expansion modules. For example, the addition of a Cloudy StormST (with Switchy and RTC) and a LightningST fits perfectly into the 520ST.
